Abstract
The study addressed the implementation of artificial intelligence in the generation of legal evidence and the challenges it poses for Ecuadorian regulations. A mixed-methodology approach was used, combining qualitative analysis of regulations and jurisprudence with a quantitative evaluation based on the Iadov method to measure expert satisfaction. Legal gaps and potential risks, such as the manipulation of evidence through artificial intelligence, were identified. The discussion focused on the urgent need to update regulations to ensure the ethical use of artificial intelligence in the judicial sphere. The study concluded with recommendations for legal reforms to ensure the validity of artificial intelligence-generated evidence
