Abstract

In the Ecuadorian context, the use of drones has increased considerably, raising concerns about the violation of fundamental rights such as privacy and legal security. This research analyzed the impact of the use of drones on the violation of these rights and proposed suggestions in search of effective regulation. To this end, a field study was carried out through surveys and interviews with judicial actors and citizens, to obtain a perspective on the implications of the use of drones. The results revealed that there was a widespread perception that drones threatened personal and family privacy. So, it has highlighted the priority of a clear regulatory framework that guarantees the protection of these rights.
