Evaluation of educational leave in the context of the worker's educational right.
Abstract
The Ecuadorian legal system seeks, through the regulation of study leave, to establish a system that promotes equal rights among all workers, guaranteeing their equal access to educational opportunities and encouraging personal and professional development. Given the impact of education on social mobility and quality of life, it is essential to examine how the Ecuadorian State enshrines and regulates these permits within its normative framework, considering international human rights obligations. The central objective of this study was to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the legal framework governing educational leave in Ecuador, addressing both its effectiveness and its alignment with the right to education and the principle of equal opportunities for all citizens.
