Strategic approaches to foster the active participation of families in the mathematical learning process.
Abstract
This research highlights the importance of fostering the active participation of families in mathematics learning, an essential skill for academic and professional development. The objective is to promote effective collaboration between school, families and students, improving motivation and achievement in mathematics. A qualitative-quantitative approach was used with descriptive, exploratory and explanatory research, employing inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods. A survey was applied to 30 students of the Ricardo Descalzi Educational Unit, which allowed obtaining real data. The results showed an increase in family participation and an improvement in the students' academic performance in mathematics.
