Abstract

The objective of the research was to describe the perspectives of the educational community of two high school on the application of the Community School Projects (CSP) in terms of collaborative and academic participation. Using a qualitative approach, the process consisted of analyzing and interpreting data and subsequently obtaining reflections on the particular phenomenon. The results indicate that the CSP have a positive influence on students, but these only remain at the campus level without transcending beyond the classroom. In view of this, educational actors such as principals, teachers, and students should get involved and work as a team in the design of projects that link theory and practice with a greater impact on the community.
