Analysis of electronic invoicing in businesses in the canton of Pastaza: impacts, challenges and business perspectives.

Abstract

Electronic invoicing optimizes financial administration, improves resource management and increases clarity in transactions, also allows for the expeditious delivery of invoices, which enhances customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the adoption of electronic invoicing in companies in the Pastaza canton, identifying the benefits, obstacles and challenges faced by entrepreneurs. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used for the analysis, with surveys and literature reviews. Although 82% of the entrepreneurs are familiar and 78% have received training, 50% still encounter difficulties. E-invoicing not only reduces costs and improves efficiency, but it is also environmentally friendly and enhances the customer experience.
