Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits and challenges of adopting circular business models by entrepreneurs in Pastaza. In a global economy focused on sustainability, these models offer solutions to reduce environmental impact and optimize resource use. The research employs qualitative and quantitative approaches, including interviews and surveys with local entrepreneurs about their perceptions and experiences. The results reveal that while they recognize advantages such as reduced costs and improved business image, they also face significant challenges such as high start-up costs and lack of adequate infrastructure. This analysis contributes to the formulation of public policies that encourage the adoption of sustainable practices in the business environment.
