Political education strategy for the participation of citizens of Babahoyo Canton, Ecuador, in the formulation of public policies.

Abstract

Gender sensitive public policies seek to integrate the experiences of women and men in all political, economic, and social areas to promote equity and address inequalities. This research focuses on a strategy to encourage citizen participation in the formulation of these policies in Babahoyo, Ecuador. A political training strategy from a gender perspective is propo sed, with citizen inclusion in the formulation of public policies. The design of a proposal for educational workshops is proposed to encourage this of public policies.
