Evaluation of the rights of priority attention groups in the Ecuadorian legislation: study applied in the parish La Dolorosa del Priorato, Ibarra.

Abstract

The research work analyzes the lack of knowledge of the rights of priority groups in the parish of La Dolorosa del Priorato, canton Ibarra, during the period from November to April 2023 2024. A low level of knowledge about these rights, established in the Ecuadorian Constitution, was identified, which motivated the development of an interpretive proposal for the residents of the parish. Through surveys and a dichotomous questionnaire, the causes of the lack of knowledge were determined, revealing a deficit in the understanding of the rights of these vulnerable groups. To address this situation, activities such as the distribution of flyers, informative talks and the creation of an educational video for dissemination on the Internet were proposed.
