Abstract

This article presents some of the theoretical references included in the research protocol in order to understand the importance and need for learning Mexican Sign Language for teachers in training, primarily aimed at students in the 5th semester of the Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy at the National Pedagogical University, Zitácuaro, Michoacán. This work was part of the research protocol for the thesis in option for the scientific degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences that this author carried out.
