Analysis of the conversational agent on mathematics considering data science.

Abstract

The general objective of this mixed research is to analyze the use of the conversational agent on mathematics considering data science. The participants are 27 students of the Bachelor's Degree in Earth Sciences. The results indicate that the use of this web tool favors the aspects of motivation and enthusiasm. The decision tree algorithm allowed the construction of two predictive models on the use of the conversational agent considering the learning style and sex of the students. In conclusion, educators have the opportunity to incorporate conversational agents to offer new spaces for interaction and communication between the participants of the teaching-learning process from anywhere.
