Comparative analysis of tools for exploring large volumes of data: methodological proposal.

Abstract

The work presented here results from a comparative analysis carried out between different tools to explore large volumes of data and determine the most outstanding tools for data analysis. The comparison was made with various tools or software that are used to explore a large set of data stored in databases, which are free software, commercial, and cloud services; the latter provide modules or services for such analysis. The comparative analysis was performed using quality parameters through the software quality methodology under the acronym FURPS.
