Youth football in Mexico: Analysis of the current situation and prospects for the development of the sport.
Abstract
This article analyses the current situation of youth football in Mexico, identifying key challenges and opportunities. Through a documentary review, interviews and literature analysis, problems such as lack of infrastructure, limited resources, inequality and exclusion are highlighted; in addition, the need to improve the training of coaches and players is pointed out; however, opportunities are also recognized such as the growing interest in training programs, talent development and the use of football as a tool for social inclusion and community development. The article contributes to a critical understanding of this context and proposes necessary actions to strengthen youth football, improve the quality of life of young people and contribute to the social development of the communities involved.
