Abstract

The research paper highlights the relevance of gender equality in the workplace and how diversity and inclusion foster innovation in organizations, differentiates between “sex” and “gender”, highlighting that equality is fundamental for individual rights and social justice in a changing world. The UN supports gender equality and women's empowerment as strategies to eradicate poverty and promote sustainable development. Although women have historically occupied traditional roles, their participation in the workplace intensified with the Industrial Revolution, facing wage and labor inequalities. This research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, reveals the need to prioritize gender equality and the inclusion of vulnerable groups in labor policies to boost economic growth.
