Abstract

This study evaluates the quality and performance of engine oils to ensure optimal operation of vehicles. Key properties such as basic and acid number, and metallic content were analyzed, allowing the identification of the most effective oils for lubrication and engine life extension. It highlights the importance of maintaining adequate oil levels and selecting additives that improve wear resistance and thermal stability. The study provides guidelines for choosing appropriate lubricants, ensuring durability of automotive systems and compliance with manufacturer's specifications.
