Perspectives and challenges in legal education in Ecuadorian universities.
Abstract
The importance of legal education lies in the recognition of the value of legal regulations. The objective of the research was to analyze the determining factors of positive and negative perspectives on legal education in Ecuador. Surveys were applied to students, teachers and legal professionals, and processed using logistic regression. Access to technology significantly improves positive perceptions, while the model reveals a moderate predictive capacity of 67%. The results suggest that, although positive steps are being taken, legal education in Ecuador requires structural reforms to ensure equity and quality in all institutions.
