Abstract

The academic leader in the educational institution is the one who directs strategies that enable the staff to feel satisfied through their actions; consequently, the research objective was to analyze the influence of the leadership style of higher education administrators on the job satisfaction level of teaching and administrative staff. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) and the Job Satisfaction Survey S20/23 were used in both versions. The results revealed that the predominant leadership style is transformational, with the motivational inspiration subscale. Regarding satisfaction, it was found that the administrative, teaching, and support staff is 'quite satisfied' (83%). It was confirmed that leadership has a positive influence on the job satisfaction of the staff.
