Ubiquitous Learning (U-Learning) in Higher Education: A systematic review.
Abstract
Ubiquitous learning (U-Learning) is an emerging approach that enables anytime, anywhere learning through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This study conducts a systematic review of the literature in Redalyc and ScienceDirect, analyzing articles in Spanish and English using rigorous criteria. The findings show a global interest in ubiquitous learning and its potential to transform higher education, although challenges are identified, such as the lack of comprehensive models, the digital divide, the lack of digital skills, and technological limitations. The study concludes that it is necessary to promote future research, such as the development of inclusive and dynamic strategies that take full advantage of the possibilities of ubiquitous technologies.
