Content validity of a questionnaire on attitudes toward the use of technology in learning mathematics.
Abstract
A 25-item questionnaire was designed to assess six scales. The questionnaire was validated by five experts, who examined the items' adequacy, clarity, coherence, and relevance. These criteria were analyzed using the content validity coefficient (CVC). The results show that the items are representative of the corresponding construct, with a CVC ranging from .74 to .99 for each scale. This indicates that the questionnaire has good content validity; that is, it adequately represents each of the constructs measured. In addition, a pilot test was conducted to calculate internal reliability using Cronbach's alpha for each scale, obtaining results ranging from .73 to .93.
