Abstract

This article addresses the topic of strengthening reading skills among first-semester students at CBTA 223, a high school located in Cocula, Guerrero, which was implemented through an educational strategy. This research aims to enhance academic performance at the current level, since it is essential for their professional development. Therefore, the designed educational strategy is designed with the intention that students, through strengthening reading skills, will be able to comprehend what is written, thereby enhancing their analytical and reflective skills, improving their academic performance and enabling professional and employment training in line with current social demands.
