Evaluation of teaching-learning in the opinion of engineering university students in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the teaching-learning process from the perspective of engineering students in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. A non-experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive design was used. A personal data form was used, as well as a questionnaire that assessed the teaching-learning experience on a scale from very satisfied (5 points) to very dissatisfied (1 point). A higher score (25) indicated greater satisfaction with the learning process. There was a predominance of women (62.7%), fifth semester students (32.8%), with a mean age of 21.16 and a grade of 8.07, and 17.6% were working simultaneously. The evaluation of the teaching-learning process was highly significant (p<.01), with 38.9% being dissatisfied/very dissatisfied. Women were satisfied (62.0%) and 89.4% were very dissatisfied among men (p<.01).
