Research project for the development of a system of methodological workshops to strengthen English teaching skills among Level 1 teachers of the Language Department of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the University of Guayaquil.
Abstract
In this article, the author addresses a pedagogical research proposal focused on the design of a system of methodological workshops to strengthen English teaching skills among Level 1 teachers of the Language Department of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at the University of Guayaquil. Using a qualitative approach with quantitative support, the training needs of teachers were diagnosed, identifying key areas for improvement. This proposal, based on a doctoral thesis in Pedagogical Sciences, outlines workshops addressing teaching methodologies, technology use, assessment strategies and communicative approaches, with the aim of optimizing teacher performance and improving the teaching of English as a foreign language.
