Research project to evaluate the impact of using game software on the learning of fractions among fourth-grade elementary school students in Mexico.
Abstract
Learning fractions is a central challenge in primary education, as it is related to the development of advanced mathematical skills. In Mexico, national and international assessments have revealed significant gaps in this area. This study is a research project to evaluate the impact of the game-based software EduApp on fourth-grade students' understanding of fractions. An exploratory study was conducted, and the conclusion is that EduApp is an effective and contextualized tool for strengthening fraction learning in Mexican primary education, which serves as a premise for the research.
