Factors associated with the academic risk status of university students.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with academic risk in university graduates in order to develop tutorial support strategies. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data, including study habits, motivation, and family problems, and was administered to 332 UABC graduates. The results showed that the main determinants were emotional health (34.3%) and activity overload (31.3%), followed by study habits, motivation, and family problems. Differences were also identified between the support requested and received, highlighting the need for a more robust tutorial intervention model for students at academic risk.
