Strategies for personalizing Special Education supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Abstract
This article explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to personalize special education and promote educational inclusion. Through a literature review, it analyzes technologies such as intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive platforms, and natural language processing tools, highlighting their ability to tailor content and methodologies to individual student needs. The ethical, technical, and pedagogical challenges arising from their implementation are discussed, and the benefits, limitations, and ethical risks related to privacy, equity, and algorithmic transparency are addressed. The study concludes that AI can transform special education if accompanied by public policies, teacher training, and regulatory frameworks that ensure its responsible and sustainable use.
