Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of Latin American scientific production in emerging technologies for university education (2019-2025). By means of a systematic search in Web of Science, 1,554 documents were analyzed with R software and bibliometrix. The results show an exponential growth of 751.1% in regional scientific production, with Mexico and Brazil as leaders (350 and 300 publications respectively). Tecnológico de Monterrey stands out as the most productive institution (294 publications). The analysis identifies thematic clusters, where the most frequently studied technologies include artificial intelligence, augmented reality, gamification, and mobile learning. It concludes that Latin America has consolidated itself as a significant emerging region in educational technology research, with distinctive student-centered conceptual frameworks.
