Methodological analysis of approaches, designs, and instruments in studies of artificial intelligence in higher education.
Abstract
This article examines the methodological approaches, research designs, and data collection instruments used in studies on the impact of artificial intelligence in higher education through a constant comparison analysis. The most common approaches are identified, such as mixed, quantitative and qualitative research, and designs such as quasi-experimental and descriptive are explored. In addition, the instruments used are reviewed, including surveys, interviews and analysis of academic performance. The article concludes that the combination of these methodological approaches allows for a comprehensive understanding of the impact of artificial intelligence in education and proposes recommendations for future research.
