Abstract

This research examines the concept of socio-emotional empowerment among 56 women from four marginalized communities in Tabasco, Mexico, utilizing the OSAR (Observer, System, Action, Results) and DEI (Strategic Identity Design) models. Following the diagnosis, an intervention was carried out using the Action Research (AR) method, implementing workshops on conversational skills for managing emotions. The models helped interpret the information generated and assist participants in their process of managing emotions and discovering resources to improve their social relationships; however, the need to progress to deeper phases of socio-emotional learning was noted.
