Cultural regionalization of the Technological Institute of Sonora: success story of the period 2016-2020.

Abstract

Regionalization shapes territories and, through art and culture, transforms contexts. This document describes the actions that foster identity and the appropriation of spaces for artistic and cultural development at the Technological Institute of Sonora during the period 2016–2020. A success story is presented, detailing the dynamics developed with the internal and external community, as well as the alliances with government, civil society, and institutions. The objective is to demonstrate how, through social synergy, the university fulfilled its cultural outreach function to address social demands, consolidating a model of cultural regionalization with an impact on southern Sonora.
