Educational technology in teacher training: a challenge for teacher professionalization.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze the educational technology training of faculty at the Autonomous University of Chapingo, based on the results of training courses, to contribute to the comprehensive development of graduates. The research employs a qualitative, cross-sectional, and descriptive-documentary approach and was conducted in 2025. Among the main findings are an increase in educational technology courses offered at the request of academic staff, a preference for courses on artificial intelligence applied to teaching, and an increase in participants in the hybrid learning modality. It is concluded that faculty members place priority on their educational technology training because it improves student performance and promotes lifelong learning.
