Open Educational Resources: strengthening university teaching collaboration.
Abstract
The research aimed to design and evaluate a web platform for Open Educational Resources (OER) to strengthen faculty collaboration in higher education. An exploratory-descriptive design with a mixed-methods approach was used. The sample consisted of 20 university faculty members who responded to a structured questionnaire about their experiences and perceptions of collaboration. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and qualitative data using content analysis. The results indicate that 80% of the faculty members believe that the exchange of OER enriches the teaching and learning processes, demonstrating that the proposed collaborative model fosters innovation and strengthens academic communities.
