Abstract

University life and motherhood are concepts that, when intertwined, multiply the demands, creating a context sustained by a shared dream. The objective of this study was to understand the daily routines and aspirations of mothers pursuing university studies at a public institution. A qualitative methodology was adopted, and the study was conducted in September and October of 2025. The results reveal long and highly demanding days, beginning in the early morning and extending into the following day, sustained by the conviction of achieving a better life. Conclusion: Although these university mothers express a strong determination to continue their studies, there is room for action on the part of the government and educational institutions to facilitate their academic progress.
