Abstract

This study analyzed organizational resources as predictors of sustained work energy in micro and small commercial enterprises in the greater Huasteca region of Mexico. An explanatory-predictive model incorporating job autonomy, scheduled breaks, workday planning, and personal privacy was tested. A quantitative, cross-sectional, and non-experimental design with convenience sampling was used. The instrument was validated through expert judgment and a pilot test, and exploratory factor analysis and multiple linear regression were applied. The model was statistically significant, with autonomy and breaks emerging as the main positive predictors, while planning showed a significant negative effect, and privacy was not significant. The findings provide evidence for strengthening regional productivity-with-wellbeing strategies.
