Abstract

The construction industry requires clean technologies to reduce its environmental impact. This research explores the scientific and technological trends in 3D extruded concrete (3DCP), highlighting its potential to decrease the carbon footprint by optimizing materials and eliminating formwork. Through a content analysis of recent patents and scientific articles, the main avenues of technological and academic development at a global level are identified. The results underscore the importance of this technique in reducing environmental impact and improving construction efficiency. Finally, the current landscape of this technology in Mexico is examined, identifying key players and pioneering projects that mark its initial adoption in the country.
