Culture of Peace and the educational process: a preliminary approach for an educational strategy at the secondary school level.
Abstract
The culture of peace, integrated into an educational strategy, is a pedagogical approach aimed at fostering peaceful coexistence in schools through an inclusive process. It is grounded in the development of socio-emotional skills that promote core competencies, autonomous learning, and personal and social values. The goal is to establish and validate a strategy that encourages peace within classrooms while also facilitating meaningful academic learning that strengthens students’ emotional intelligence as they begin a new stage in their education. This research seeks to integrate teachers and students—both within and beyond educational institutions—into a future committed to the culture of peace.
