Distributed leadership and its distribution patterns: association with subjective happiness among secondary education teachers.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze the association between distributed leadership, its distribution patterns, and subjective happiness among secondary education teachers. A quantitative study with a correlational scope, a non-experimental design, and a cross-sectional approach was conducted. Participants included 217 secondary education teachers who completed the Multidimensional Distributed Leadership Questionnaire and the Subjective Happiness Scale. Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlations were calculated. The results showed no statistically significant association between distributed leadership, its distribution patterns, and subjective happiness. It is concluded that subjective happiness is a multidimensional construct whose explanation extends beyond school leadership practices, providing evidence regarding the impact of distributed leadership on teacher well-being.
