Abstract

In recent years, statistical rates regarding the crime of femicide have risen, representing a socio-legal phenomenon in Mexico that demands urgent attention; therefore, it is important to analyze the effectiveness of existing public policies and legal mechanisms in preventing femicide from going unpunished, given that impunity infringes upon the victims' human and fundamental rights.
