Evaluation of the level of fear of death among undergraduate students in nursing.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to evaluate the level of fear of death among undergraduate students in nursing at UNIANDES university. For this, the Collet-Lester Test in its Spanish version was used to 256 students of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. The level of fear of death in the studies was 3,400 ± 673; the fear of the death of others was the greatest among the 4 subdimensions studied, and the least fear was of one's own death. It is necessary to perfect the process of initial training of nursing students for a better assimilation of death.
