Abstract

Researches state that the insufficiencies in the development of professional communicative competence in English are very frequent. This limits the professional communicative performance of nurses in English speaking countries. The article defends the need of perfecting the teaching-learning of English for Specific Purposes from the interdisciplinarity. For this reason, an interdisciplinary didactic proposal for the teaching learning process of English for Specific Purposes is deployed with emphasis on professional communicative tasks, which favors the integral solution of professional problems and gradually approaches them to the mode of professional performance, which it is expressed in the achievement of the professional communicative competence in English language of the Bachelor in Nursing students.
