The Industrial Heritage and its representation in the actual tourism.
Abstract
This research pretends to explore within the field of industrial heritage as an innovative proposal for the tourism sector. The negative effects that trigger the conditioning of the heritage to supply the sense of cultural consumption to which we are exposed with the development of tourism activity are presented. The study was supported by a transversal design of descriptive research, using the methods: inductive, deductive and analytical through bibliographic documentary review. The conclusions show the importance of the actions to recover the industrial heritage, and industries are recognized in Ecuador that have been deployed towards this type of tourism, as well as encouraging industries in responsible consumption for the search of a sustainable development on a large scale.
