Analysis of the Web Application for the Punctual Estimation by means of data science.

Abstract

The objective of this quantitative research is to analyze the impact of the Web Application for the Point Estimation (WAPE) in the subject Statistical instrumentation for business through data science. The decision tree technique (data mining) allows to identify predictive models on the use of (WAPE) in the teaching learning process on the mean and sample proportion. The results of the linear regression indicate that WAPE has a positive influence on learning about statistics. Likewise, the logistic regression establishes the characteristics of the interface in the WAPE that favor the educational process on the point estimate. Finally, WAPE represents an ideal technological alternative to innovate school activities.
