Factors of intolerance formation in Modern Russian Society.

Abstract

The factors of formation of interethnic intolerance in modern Russian society are considered in this paper. We established that the growth of poverty, stratification of society into the poor and rich, social insecurity, the problem of employment, unemployment, the presence of corruption and inefficiency of the policy pursued by the government in its eradication, the activities of informal national leaders opposing the Russian peoples to eachother, low culture of interethnic communication, the loss of the principles of international education, interethnic confrontation, as well as lack of trust in the authorities are the barriers in the process of formation of interethnic harmony on the basisof the results of sociological study.
