Disposal for the donation of organs for transplant purposes based on the knowledge of undergraduate students of the Faculty of Nursing No. 2, Guerrero.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know to what extent the variables of knowledge, family and social factors are associated with a favorable disposition to the donation of organs for the purpose of transplantation. The relevance of the study grows because it is focused on students of the Nursing Degree. For this, a cross-sectional descriptive observational study was carried out, applying a validated instrument in a universe of study of 138 students of said degree from the School of Nursing N ° 2, of the sixth and eighth semesters. The research responds to the fact that the students show little knowledge towards the donation of organs for the purpose of transplantation, as well as there is little institutional interest in informing them about organ donation.
