The formation in values at the preschool level and its relationship with the formation of competences. A preliminary approach.

Abstract

At the preschool level, values start to form in little children, since it is their first approach to a sociocultural context different from that of their family, so they face new challenges with new people, which little by little they get to know. In addition, values are part of the skills that are favored at the level. Teachers who attend to preschoolers must be competent to train them in values, hence this article directs attention to theoretical bases that provide elements for teachers to learn and further expand their outlook in the formation of values in the preschool level.
