Moralitos: example of educator and revolutionary.
Abstract
The present work is part of a historical scientific pedagogical result, and theoretical and empirical methods were used. The authors studied the life and work of the teacher and patriot Rafael Morales González, Moralitos. Teacher since his adolescence, characterized by his patriotism, he joined the Liberation Army at the beginningof the Revolution in 1868. He proposed the Law of Public Instruction, was founder of the little schools of the rearguard and creator of the literacy card that circulated throughout the insurgent mountain. A true exponent of the nineteenth century educator and revolutionary, who serves as a paradigm for present and future generations of teachers when searching for ways to democratize education. He died for his country and the education of all.
