Abstract

The incidence of problem-based learning (PBL) is established in the development of students' research competencies. In the period 2015-2016, a quantitative, descriptive, quasi-experimental and transversal study was carried out. Ninety-four students participated in a pre-test-post test design quasi-experiment. To identify differences between the means of the experimental and control groups in the pre-test and post-test, the parametric test comparison of means for two independent samplesand the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for  a sample were used, in addition, the Homogeneity of variances was analyzed through the Levene Test.
