Regular Editions.

“Dilemas Contemporáneos: Educación, Política y Valores” jounal is pleased to present to its readers and collaborators its quarterly editions published in the months of January, May, and September (Regular Editions) visible on the "Editions" webpage in the first three (3) days of each of those months mentioned.

The admission process of articles, for each of the journal´s Regular Editions is through its platform, where the author uploads his article directly to the journal, following the instructions provided by the platform. This admission process begins on January 4th, May 4th and September 4th of each admission period, and this process closes immediately after when the journal received all the articles within its admission capacity for the corresponding edition.

The approximate period of the total evaluation process of an article can be between 20 to 35 days depending on the number of articles that are in the evaluation processes (1st evaluation process: general evaluation by members of the Editorial Board, and 2nd evaluation process: specialized evaluation and final opinion by members of the External Scientific Board). It should be noted that any article submitted for publication must be original and unpublished, not in the process of evaluation by any other journal, and furthermore, sending the article for evaluation does not mean it will be published, because all articles have to go through the evaluation processes specified above and obtain the corresponding positive evaluation results. Authors can consult more information on the journal´s webpage: "Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement" https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/codigodeconducta

Each of the quarterly editions is inserted in the national and international context with articles that address academic and research activities of professionals, who carry out their daily tasks in the working areas of the journal.

The Editorial Board of the journal will review the application and may approve it or not at its discretion, as well as to make observations that will be considered by the requesting institution for its final approval.

  1. Determination of Guest Editors.

Guest Editors will be professionals from the requesting institution, who will receive the articles and they will make the 1st general evaluation of articles according to the journal's Publication Rules. 1. The articles approved by the Editorial Board are sent for evaluation by the External Scientific Board of the journal.

All articles approved by the Editorial Board, they will be evaluated under a double-blind peer review process, where at least two reviewers from the External Scientific Board, who do not know each other, are involved in the review of the manuscript, and will dictate in this process. Confidentiality will be respected, so there will be no debate between the reviewers, as well as no connection between them regarding the manuscript under review, and neither between the reviewers and the author. In the event that the reviewers of the External Scientific Board make observations, they will be sent to the Guest Editors so that they, together with the authors of the article, can analyze it, comply with the observations and return it to the journal.

  1. The article approved in step 5 will be published.
