Research project for the design of a public policy for the education of citizens regarding the consequences of drug use in the Babahoyo Canton, Los Ríos Province, Ecuador.

Abstract

The article reports on a research project whose focus is on the lack of public policies that encourage population education actions that contribute to reducing drug use. The objectives of this work propose the foundation of a public policy proposal after evaluating the current situation of drug use and its consequences on the population of Babahoyo Canton, Los Ríos Province, as well as the lack of government control and management regarding this problem.
