Expressions of social responsibility among children in southern Tamaulipas.
Abstract
The objective of this research is to understand the perspective on social responsibility held by children in southern Tamaulipas. The methodology used was qualitative and descriptive. From January to July 2025, 105 expressions of social responsibility were collected through letters and drawings from children aged 6 to 9 years. These were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, taking into account literacy level, gender, age, and type of school. The results show that, although the children are not formally familiar with the concept of social responsibility, they do have an understanding of its practices and its importance. In conclusion, the children expressed their interest in social responsibility, and their responses revealed dimensions of social responsibility that are recognized in existing literature.
