Abstract
This paper presents a research project that deepened the use of vocabulary teaching strategies in English. In it, a qualitative study of exploratory level is proposed with the use of the technique of non-participant observation. This study is of great importance as it contributes to the learning of vocabulary by students in the process of English language teaching, as well as providing teachers with diverse strategies that can contribute to this purpose based on the students’ needs.
